Voluntary Driver – I drive for the Cumbria Voluntary Social Car Scheme. There are no buses around here and trains are infrequent, and some of the frail member of our community couldn’t make it to the railways stations, so the inexpensive (expenses only) service we offer is very useful. We are always on the lookout for volunteer drivers; if you’re interested get in touch and I’ll point you towards our local coordinator.
